1984: Tom Kaczperski opens the doors of Omega Plastics to start his pursuit of building quick-turn prototype molds that make production quality parts
1989: Built expanded into "plant 2"
1995: Consolidated all plants into a 70,000 sq. ft. facility. With a desire to build a comfortable work environment, Tom Kaczperski formed teams to make the plant both efficient and comfortable for the team. The result was a highly functional layout.
1998: Opened Omega UK in New Castle, England
2001: Sold Omega UK to joint venture partners
2001: Jeff Kaczperski becomes president of Omega as Tom Kaczperski retires.
2004: Omega shifts strategy to include more production tooling and molding
2005: RJG certified tryout shop
2006: Omega starts investment plan to expand molding capacity and increase value-added services
2006: Began transition to electric presses
2006: Investment in additional decoupled molding training
2006: Omega targets the medical industry as it primary growth market
2007: Earns TS16949 Certification
2007: Started implementation decoupled molding
2008: Addition of a 3,500 sq. ft. Cleanroom
2009: Earns ISO13485 Certification
2010: Automated tool manufacturing cell introduced
2010: Medical industry becomes Omegas largest market
2010: Omega becomes ITAR registered
2013: Omega wins "Community Involvement" award
2013: Expands machining capabilities to include 5-axis machining
2014: Expanded Quality Management System to become cGMP compliant
2014: Omega wins "Sales Diversity" award
2015: Expansion of tooling capabilities to include 5-axis hi-speed horizontal CNC machining
2015: Addition of 1100T molding capability
